Sons of Issachar
There was a body of men who had rallied around King David. It is written in,
1 Chronicles 12:32, “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.”
Years ago, someone asked me if I would like to join their parade. After thinking about it for a few moments, I replied, “First I must know who is leading it, and secondly, where’s it going?”
This small group of men in David’s time understood the who and where of these two questions!
Now how about you? We are all marching is another persons parade! So, ask yourself, do I understand who’s leading your parade and where it’s headed?
Jesus said, “Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter you in at the strait (narrow) gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in there at. Because strait (narrow) is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there (shall) be that find it.”
“The thunder of waters swept over the people and dropped them into an unknown abbess; they had fallen over the drop and now found themselves in an unknown ocean, and ocean covered in darkness.”
