False Teachers, Liars, Anti-Christs.

False Teachers, Liars, Anti-Christs.

A false teacher is one that is not true; not conforming to the facts; it expresses what is contrary to that which exists, what is done, said, or thought. A false report, accusation, witness, opinion, etc.

A teacher is one who instructs, or tutors. Because a noun (teacher) dominates a sentence, the adjective, “false,” describes the type of teacher we have in mind. False teachers are those who preach and practice their own agendas invoking the name of Jesus, carry Bibles, attending church, leading prayer groups, preaching, and writing. This is but a deception, a camouflage, a veil hiding any true intentions.

False teachers corrupt the words of the Gospel by teaching:

1. Unholy doctrines;

2. Self-serving philosophies;

3. Entangling others;

4. Reviling those who disagree with them;

5. Name-calling;

6. Accusers;

7. Mockers;

8. Errors by example.

False teachers have entered into every corner of the Christian community, thus dividing families, friends and churches. Jesus said in

Matthew 12:25, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.”

When differences of ideas or opinions begin to fester in a church, they can usually be traced back to church leaders, becoming focused on themselves, and taking their eyes off the Lord.

Causes of Church Disagreements begin with pride, exposing:

1. Unworthy men;

2. Scoffers of the truth;

3. Earthly desires;

4. Reprobates in thought and deed;

The intentional misrepresentation of Scripture exists by:

1. Neglecting established doctrines;

2. Abhorring unity of understanding;

3. Measuring the truth with corrupted scales;

4. Edifying false doctrines.

The goals of those who are misrepresenting the Gospel, do so in order destroy the power, the glory, the finished works, and deity of Jesus Christ; thus they attempt to make God a liar.

No lie is of the truth. Frauds and imposters are unfit to support and propagate the truths written in Scriptures. These are liars.

1 John 2:22, “Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah, the Anointed One)?”

Liars oppose Christ, denying the witness and testimony of the Father however the Holy Spirit does not lie. Christians are persuaded by love and commanded by love to be partakers in God’s work, waiting for Jesus to return to earth, and they are filled with both confidence and joy. False teachers have forsaken Him and will be judged in their shame.

The following descriptions apply to false teachers:

1. Uncompromising;

2. Seducers of the flock;

3. Enmity and hatred flowing from their lips;

4. Receiving no truth;

5. Noisemakers;

6. Aliens in the body of believers;

7. Marred in false teaching;

8. Tempters of God’s people;

9. Waves raging in the sea;

10. Opposing sound doctrines.

James 3:16, “For where envying and strife (self-seeking) is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

Confusion usually comes about when fundamental doctrines are challenged. Issues which come under fire are,

1.The deity of Jesus Christ;

2. The resurrection of Jesus Christ;

3. The return of Jesus Christ for His bride;

4 The rapture of the church;

5. The tribulation of the ungodly Gentiles;

6. The return of the Jews to the land called Israel;

7 Jesus’s dealing with the Jews during Tribulation;

8. The Jews, no longer Jews, means God will not fulfill the unconditional covenant He made to this people.

False Teachers propagate the following:

1. Uncertainty of Scripture;

2. Sedition of believers;

3. Evil;

4. Rejection of fundamental truth;

5. Negativity (so as to divide);

6. Anger against fundamental leadership;

7. Mortifying the spirit and soul of all men;

8. Edifying their father, the devil.
