Prophesy and Modern Israel

From May 14, 1948 forward, certain promises made by the LORD thousands of years ago, have been and continue to be fulfilled.

God’s prophecies foretold of a modern Israel possessing a powerful military, and a people who shall build up the wastelands. Israel has become self-sufficient in energy and in food production.  They have grown in less than 70 years into a prospering agricultural and industrial nation and built many great cities; all this, by God’s will.

2500 years ago, Ezekiel wrote,

Ezekiel 36:18-19, “I (God) poured my fury upon them (the Jews) for the blood that they had shed (the Son of God) upon the land, and for their idols, wherewith they had polluted it (not letting the land rest): I scattered them among the heathen (Gentile nations), — I judged them.”

In 70 A.D. God sent in the Roman armies to destroy the Jewish Temple and the city Jerusalem. Over a million people were killed and tens of thousands taken into slavery.

But Paul wrote concerning this matter,

Romans 11:1,2, 8-12, “Has God cast away (discarded forever) His people? God forbid (NO!) … God has not cast away his people which he foreknew … It is written, God has given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see (temporary blindness), and ears that they should not hear (spiritual blindness); unto this day.”

Promises kept:

Joel 3:1-7-20, “Behold, in those (latter) days, and in that time, when I (God) shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem … I will raise (bring) them out of the place whither (from where) you (Gentile nations) have sold them … Judah (Israel) shall dwell forever (in their own land), and Jerusalem from generation to generation.”

Amos 9:14-15, “— and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them …And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, said the LORD thy God.”

Ezekiel 37, There lay before Ezekiel a valley of “very dry bones (spiritually dead Israel scattered among the nations.)” Then the four winds breathed upon these dry bones, “that they may live.” And “breath came into them and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. — then Ezekiel is told, “these bones are the whole house of Israel (12 tribes). — I shall put my spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall you know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it.”

The LORD then said, “I Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live (become a nation.) — I will bring up flesh upon you, — and put breath (back) into you, and you shall live. — and the bones came together.” Yet “there was no breath in them.” — I shall put my (Holy) Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land (Israel.”

The Jews today are encircled by their enemies: Iran, Syria, Jordon, Arabia, Libya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Russia, etc., etc. Yet God said, “No more will they be pulled up out of their land.” And as far as I am concerned, “you can take that to the bank”!

We have arrived; be ready to meet the Lord Jesus Christ, as written in,

1 Thessalonians 4:16, “For the Lord (Jesus) himself shall (no question) descend from (the 3ed) heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we (Christians) which are alive (still breathing) and remain shall be caught up (raptured up) together with them (those raised from the dead) in the clouds (angels of heaven), to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever (forever) be with the Lord (where He has prepared a place for us in His Father’s house).”
